Mozzarella in carrozza Mini Chilled around 270g +/-15 pcs
The dish consists of slices of mozzarella enclosed in two slices of sandwich bread (which act as a "carriage", the "bridles" of these hypothetical carriages are given by the string of cheese), which are dipped in egg and milk and then fried. Often the stuffed slices are also dipped in flour or breadcrumbs before frying.
It was created in Naples as an alternative to using leftover mozzarella.
